It's that time once again for the Branson Fall Forums Rally and Chili Cook Off!

Dates are set for the second weekend in October (Columbus Day Weekend), and will give us the opportunity to extend the rally an extra day since many people will be off on Monday. Early arrival or later departure is encouraged of course if you want to hit the shows in Branson.

he venue for this event will the the South Campground at Compton Ridge. We held our first two rallies at the North Park at Compton ridge, but it was sold between the rallies, and their customer service was very lacking at our second event. The ownership has changed again and the new owner is very interested in showing us they can be a top notch campground again.

Sites are on hold with the campground until September 1st. That's three weeks to call and get your spot. We will be parked around the pavilion and have free use of it while at the campground. The campsites after discount will be $27.00 with tax.

We can put together a time frame for potluck meals and informal happy hours in the next few months, but the Chili competition will still be held on Saturday night. As usual, the winner will receive a trophy and prize. Chili with the symbol usually doesn't win, and requires far too much RV TP. Please restrain thy self!

I will speak with forums member and Branson nightlife coordinator "Horton" and look into getting us tickets to the Legends show on one of the nights.

Book reservations now and guarantee yourself a spot. This rally seems to get better every six months, and this year I am expecting a great time.
