For those arriving Thursday evening or early Friday morning, we are planning tours Friday afternoon starting at 1:00 p.m. We will leave the campground at Noon. Our first stop will be Wolf Park and our second stop will be the Tippecanoe County Courthouse. After returning to the campground, we will have a pitch-in dinner with burgers & brats provided.
In the evening there will be a General Business meeting including officer elections followed by a campfire.
Saturday, October 10 is the first day of the 42nd Annual Feast of the Hunters’ Moon. The “Feast” is a re-creation of the annual fall gathering of the French and Native Americans which took place at Fort Quiatenon, a fur-trading outpost. Fort Quiatenon was the first fortified European settlement in what is now Indiana and was established by the French in 1717.
The past is yours at the “Feast”. Continuous, free programming is held on five stages. It opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 5:00 p.m. We plan to park in the Purdue stadium parking lot and take the shuttle bus to the ‘Feast”.
Our dinner and officer installation will be held Saturday evening at Oliverio’s Southland Restaurant.
The Rally Fee will be $17.00 per person. This fee includes the burgers & brats for the pitch-in dinner and the Installation dinner at Oliverio’s Southland Restaurant. You will be responsible for your camping fees with the A-OK Campground. You will need to make your own reservations directly with the camp- ground. Their telephone number is: (765) 474-5030. Tell them you are with the
